By booking an appointment with Wave Beauty, you agree to the following policies. These are designed to protect both clients and the business while ensuring a calm, professional, and high-quality service.
Aftercare Advice
Proper aftercare is essential to maintain the longevity, appearance, and health of your nails:

Apply a high-quality cuticle oil twice daily to keep the nail and surrounding skin hydrated.

Avoid saunas, steam rooms, and prolonged exposure to water for the first 48 hours after your appointment (including baths and hot tubs).

Wear gloves when cleaning, washing up, gardening, or carrying out household or DIY tasks.

Avoid or limit contact with products that may compromise product integrity, such as:

Moisturisers containing lanolin

Sun creams

Tanning creams or oils
-
Hair products
Always wash your hands after use.

Do not use your nails as tools, including opening packaging, tins, or removing labels.

Do not pick, pull, or bite at lifting product — this can damage the nail plate and affect future product retention.

Contact me immediately at the first sign of lifting to arrange a repair and reduce the risk of bacterial infection.
Failure to follow aftercare advice may affect product longevity and is not considered a fault with the service provided.
Booking Fees & Appointment Confirmation
Booking Fee

A £20 booking fee is required to secure all appointments.

This fee covers the administrative and preparatory work carried out before your appointment, including communication, diary management, client record setup, and the holding of appointment time that cannot be offered to another client.

The booking fee is deducted from the cost of your treatment when the appointment is attended.

Appointments are not confirmed until the booking fee has been received.

Payment of the booking fee confirms that you have read and accepted Wave Beauty’s policies.

The booking fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

In the event of late cancellation, short-notice rescheduling, or failure to attend, the booking fee will be retained.
Late Arrivals

Clients are expected to arrive on time.

Late arrival may result in a shortened service to avoid disruption to subsequent appointments.

If insufficient time remains to safely complete the service, the appointment may be cancelled and the booking fee retained.
Children & Babies

Children and babies are not permitted at appointments.

Attendance with a child or baby will result in refusal of treatment and the booking fee being retained.
Service Suitability

Wave Beauty reserves the right to refuse or modify services where they are deemed unsuitable or unsafe.

This includes, but is not limited to, nail damage, infections, or other contraindications.

Where a service is declined on professional or safety grounds, the booking fee will not be refunded.
Payments & Conduct

Any outstanding fees must be settled before future bookings can be made.

Disrespectful, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will result in refusal of service without refund.
